This non-alcoholic blood orange cocktail is a fun fizzy spin on a blood orange drink! Lime juice, fresh blood orange and jalapeño peppers are topped off with seltzer for the ultimate happy hour mocktail.

In case you missed last week's announcement, I’ve decided to combine my email list with the blog subscribers list. I’m finding it hard to maintain two separate “Finds” lists. So, from now on, the Friday email will simply be a list of highlights from the blog post with appropriate links to remind you to look for the Friday Finds.
I am soo close to 1,000 blog subscribers. Who will be the lucky 1,000th subscriber? Maybe you??
I'll continue to use this ConvertKit email list to provide you with more timely notices. Occasionally, I have news of importance that comes in during the week that shouldn’t wait until the following Friday. I promise I won’t be spamming you with emails. I don’t have time for that nonsense. lol
Plans are to purge the email list of cold subscribers who haven't opened an email in a while soon. (I just need to figure out the technical aspects of that endeavor! lol)

I love my hyacinths and daffodils, but they will bloom through the snow. So perhaps my favorite flowering tell-tale sign is the scent of lilac bushes bursting into bloom. One of my favorite nature sightings is when the Barn Swallows return.

What did you add to your bookshelf this week?
I adored D.L. Orton's Crossing in Time series, which, in typical Orton fashion, now continues from a new point in time.
Up next is The Hive, which I recently proofread as a favor for an editor friend. This sent me down the rabbit hole, and I re-read the entire Crossing in Time series to make sure I am ready for the newest releases.

I met Joanne Guidoccio through a book blog tour and have become intrigued by her tale. You can check out her blog, On the Road to Reinvention. And please give her novels a look-see, too. I think this will be the first one I read.
This contemporary version of The Little Mermaid offers hope and inspiration to anyone who has been dumped, deceived, or demoted. It will also appeal to mermaid enthusiasts.
