My thoughts on After the Blitz by Savannah Adams

After the Blitz grabbed me in the opening pages and didn’t let go until the epilogue!

The storyline is touching, realistic, and very well-written.

The characters are so personable that I feel like they could be my neighbors or friends. Greta’s heart shines through her kindness and generosity. Chip’s struggles after his injury are heart-breaking. He also has to contend with a hovering mother, which I believe is rather common in a situation like his. Sammie adds so much to the story. I can’t talk about characters in the book, without mentioning sweet Sammie, the therapy dog.

After the Blitz is the first book in a new series, The Inman Brothers, by Savannah Adams. I can’t wait to read the rest.
