Harlot Grace, the brains behind the street drug Gray Death, has escaped from the hospital.

Brendan Curry's tour bus is missing. Curry's father is the lead prosecutor on Harlot's case.

Special Agent Alia Price needs to find both - one for justice, the other to save his life.

With help from a Rockstar and his caravan, Price goes on an undercover journey that takes her from a major music festival to deep within a national forest.
Will she reach both in time?

The continuation of the earlier released Harlot's Grace, Harlot's Fire brings a strong female lead to the spotlight.

Excerpt from Harlot’s Fire

Each tap of Alister’s fingers echoed in the paneled wood cavern. “We have a problem,” his hands stopped moving as his eyes met hers, “the mob is after you.”

Alia’s laughter bounced out of the room. “After me? Whatever for, Alister? I didn’t shoot Salvi!” Her amusement spilled into the hallway. Alister narrowed his eyes. Alia ran her hands over her face, sat up even straighter, then brought her hands back to her lap. Her face showed zero emotion, both shoulders shook.

Alister took a long inhale off the lit cigarette before placing the burning embers back to smolder in the ashtray. Since before Alia’s arrival almost ten years ago, the building had been nonsmoking, yet Alister didn’t think the rule applied to him.

If anyone dared to complain to human resources, they got his standard answer, “this is not a kindergarten class,” although some days, Alia wondered.

“I’m not joking,” he took another long inhale. “And for the record, Salvi doesn’t have the right background for this mob.”

My thoughts on Harlot’s Fire

Harlot’s Fire is the continuation of Harlot’s Grace, although it works well as a stand-alone story. I have not read the first book in the series.

The author opens with a newspaper article that summarizes book one well enough to give you an idea of what happened.

Agent Alia Price is a strong female lead but does have her flaws, making her very relatable. There is a myriad of side characters. I admit to having a bit of trouble keeping them straight, but not so much as to put me off the book.

The scenes and settings are so well described, they play like a movie in your head. The music connections were a nice theme.

The author catches you with the mystery and action in the opening pages. You won’t quit reading until all the various mysteries are wrapped up & tied with a bow.

Lovers of action, adventure, thrillers, suspense, and mystery will enjoy this story.

Today she is the author of nine novels with another on the way.

L.M. has a reputation for a warped sense of humor, eating way too much, skiing down snow covered mountains, and dancing anywhere live music plays
