My thoughts on Esperance

Heather Frost is a master of writing intriguing romantic fantasy. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book.

Political Intrigue

I haven’t read a premise like this before.

Twelve strangers. Six marriages. One year in Esperance.

The six couples are paired together for their differences to bring peace to the kingdom. But someone wants them to fail, and the best way to foil the Emperor’s plan is murder.

Amryn is a hidden empath who is allied with the rebels and is forced to marry Carver, a general known as The Butcher. If he uncovers Amryn’s secrets, she is sure he will kill her. But is he hiding his own secrets?

Their slow-burn romance is captivating, and the immersive plot twists keep the reader turning page after page long into the night. I enjoyed the battle of wits between Amryn and Carver and was surprised by the number of times I laughed out loud at the humor woven into the tale.

This book is easily in the running for one of my best reads of 2022. But don’t take my word for it, grab your copy today and dive into the intrigue that is happening in Esperance. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
