When Hayden was a child, she lost her cat. Adults told her the cat ran away, but she knew the truth. The mirror had taken her. She knew because the mirror had given her a glimpse of an alternate world and had nearly pulled her in, so she was certain the cat had suffered that fate.
Twenty years later Hayden discovers the secret of the mirror when she is thrust into it. She learns of a world she never knew existed, and a family she never knew she had. But danger brought her here, and it followed her.
Now, Hayden is on a mission to remove the threat, so that she can begin her magical, meaningful new life in this enchanted world.

My thoughts:
Falling into Magic by Elizabeth Pantley is a wonderful debut fiction novel.
The story whisks you away to an alternate reality town where the weather is always perfect, and nothing is quite as it seems. A house that changes as needed, a settee that follows the sunbeams down the hall and cats that communicate mentally with their people are just a few of the delights in store for readers.
The author puts a unique spin on the “through the looking glass” tale. With mystery, suspense, and laugh out loud humor, Falling Into Magic is a must-read in today’s troubled world.
The pacing is excellent and keeps you riveted to the pages, while the settings are lushly described and make you long to visit.
I can’t wait to read book two to see what’s next for our heroine. The magic waterfalls have shown her a glimpse of her future. Will she find happiness in Destiny Falls or is it all a magical dream?
Escape to the magical realm of Destiny Falls. You won’t be sorry.

This sounds fun, Gina. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks, Carla. It was a fun read. Can you imagine a library that looks like a small municipal building on the outside but when you enter it’s an extraordinary multi-storied book lovers dream? That’s just a tiny bit of the magic in Destiny Falls.
