Family trust is a fast paced journey through the generations of a wealthy Australian family, who play by a different rule book.
Content Rating: PG-13. There are F words, as one character in particular has a potty mouth but not sexually explicit swearing. There are quite a few murders in the book, but they are not graphic. There is a bit of romance but nothing beyond PG activity.

My Thoughts on Family Trust
Family Trust by Peter Wilson is a heartfelt exploration of familial bonds, secrets, and the complexities of human relationships. The novel revolves around the life of the Hammond family, where long-hidden truths surface, altering their dynamics and testing the strength of their trust.
The author created vividly real, honest, and imperfect characters. They deal with how trust can be shattered and rebuilt in families.
We follow three generations of the Harris family as their lives are turned inside out by secrets from the past and the ever-present greed that seems to guide most of their actions.
The mystery is gripping and keeps the reader on their toes, trying to decipher the clues. I know I changed my mind about where the tale was headed several times.
Overall, Family Trust is an immersive read that celebrates the messiness and beauty of family connections, leaving a lasting impression. Readers who appreciate emotionally driven stories of mystery, self-discovery, and reconciliation will find this book particularly engaging.
I received a copy of the book for the tour. This review is my honest, unbiased opinion.

PETER WILSON, author of FAMILY TRUST
Where the Idea for Family Trust Came From
The original idea of Family Trust was pretty straightforward to me; create a fast-paced,
action/mystery/drama that would appeal to a large audience. The idea was to drop the
main protagonist into an awful situation and see how it played out. I wanted to have three
strong female POVs for the story, and I wanted them all to do one thing…that would be a
spoiler if I told you here! You should work that out after reading it!
Family Trust didn’t end up where I thought it would. That is often the way with writing, I
suppose. Without giving too much away, I had a specific plan in place for who was ‘good’
and who was ‘bad.’ I also had a plot and where I wanted things to end up. I would say that
none of what I thought would happen happened in the way I intended…
My characters started talking in a certain way, and that in turn their motivations to be
something different than originally intended. I think the character that stayed as close to
what I envisioned originally, was Mel. The character that ended up least like I envisioned
initially, is Rachel.
I’m happy how it all came together, but things did indeed get a bit more complicated than I
thought they would. You can put a simple idea into a novel – but that idea can need fleshing
out to make sense…and then it starts altering your trajectory.
