Friday Finds | 02-07-2025 | Recipes
Today is all about the Superbowl recipes. Even if you don’t like football, many tune in for the commercials. And let’s face it some of us just love food and recipes!
~~~~~~~~~~
Cheesy chili-stuffed cornbread is what happens when cornbread gets tired of being a sidekick and decides to break into a leading role. This golden, crumbly cornbread has a surprise middle stuffed with beefy chili and cheddar cheese. (Olwen Phillips)
Superbowl Supreme Nachos from Lindsey Fundson
I love Nachos because I can make them to suit my taste, which is on the mild side. I can also make a half & half pan to cater to everyone.
~~~~~~~~~~
Chocolate Caramel Coffee Pretzel Bars
You seriously should make a “test” batch of these before the game. You would not want to serve guests something you don’t love yourself. And to-be-honest, the first pan is going to disappear!

Today’s recipe in the email newsletter was Football Brownies. I hope you didn’t miss it!

I don’t really have any traditions, but usually have some kind of dip with those flat pretzels. Otherwise, I look forward to the commercials. I was so wanting the Lions to be playing, so I don’t care who wins, I just want a good game.
I always make pizza on SuperBowl Sunday (and also Grey Cup day here in Canada). Interesting piece of trivia: I coached JP Darche, who went on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs, finish his medical degree, and is now the Chiefs’ team doctor. He already has three super-bowl rings; I’m hoping one day he will give me one.
That’s amazing!
My parents weren’t into football and my husband isn’t either so we never did anything special because we don’t watch it.
I do love Valentine’s Day though! I just realized it’s next Friday. I have always loved making crafts for Valentine’s Day!
