Friday Finds | 03-21-2025 | Welcome
Spring is officially here, and with it comes another edition of Friday Finds! This week, I’ve got an incredible lineup of book reviews, spotlights, and fun finds to brighten your day. From historical fiction set during the Great Depression to a whimsical children’s book about unicorn poo (yes, really!), there’s a little something for everyone.
Plus, I may have gone a little overboard on the blueberries—so if you’re looking for a new dessert, you’re in luck! There are a couple of super cute Spring crafts, and, of course, I’m always on the lookout for indie author news, so don’t hesitate to send me your latest updates. Grab a cup of coffee (or a slice of pie—more on that later), and let’s dive in!
Peace & Love,
Gina

Friday Finds | 03-21-2025 | Fun Time
In honor of Pi Day, which I missed last week… let’s talk about pie.
What is your favorite pie?
Mine is Coconut Cream, followed closely by Old-Fashioned Apple. As for savory, I have to go with Pizza Pie.

I like pumpkin pie or apple. I’m so happy spring is here!
I know I have some blueberries in my freezer, and some other mixed fruit. I will check when I get home and try that recipe. I love that flower pot craft kit. I ordered one for my grandkids to make for their mom, nonna, bis-nonna etc.
I had blueberries and blackberries in my freezer from last fall. How did you know? I added some lemon zest, sugar, and a bit of cornstarch before I made blueberry strudel with thawed phyllo. Of course your recipe with cream cheese is probably better!
Sounds delish to me, Eve!
