Welcome to the Friday Finds for 11-15-2024.
I have a lighter edition for you this week. Life is busy…so, so busy! But I hope you are happy with a shorter version rather than no post at all.
Enjoy, and hopefully, things will be back to normal by next week.

Weekly Friday Finds | 11-15-2024 | Recipes
I mentioned last week that I am not fond of stuffing (or dressing, if you prefer). I guess I’m in the minority on that, so here’s a recipe from Serious Eats that sounds like it should taste good. haha
Cornbread Dressing (Stuffing) With Sausage and Sage

Weekly Friday Finds | 11-15-2024 | Trivia Time
This week’s Trivia Time is a little different, it’s more of a “Let’s get to know each other through silly questions.” There is no right or wrong answer. Any answer will earn you entries into the Trivia Jar. Won’t you play along?
What was your very first job?
I’ll start by saying I was a soda jerk at the local drugstore. And let me tell you, it was so long ago that a cup of coffee was a nickel!

Weekly Friday Finds | 11-15-2024| Creative News
It’s suddenly hat weather around here. This looks like a fun, simple pattern for all crafters!
Knitting pattern: Instant download pdf. This simple cable beanie is knit in the round on one size of circular needles. Given that the cabling pattern is not overly complicated, it would be suitable as a first cable project. It is a modern take on a traditional Aran motif, creating a hat that combines simplicity and a touch of difference.

I guess technically my first job was selling beef jerky. My dad sold it and I wanted to make some money too so he let me take some to school to sell. I sold it out of my purse since I wasn’t actually allowed to sell it in school, lol!
You are such a rebel, Jessica! 😉
My first job was at my father’s hardware store, where I worked part-time throughout my teenage years until I graduated from high school.
My first job was at the University bookstore–go figure–huh?
Sorry for the double comment. Please delete one, if possible! Thanks Gina. I make that exact stuffing every year, except I use turkey sausage. 🙂🦃
Some of the smartest people I know got their start in hardware stores. It sure gives you a wide knowledge base.
