Friday Finds | 25 February 2022 | Reviews, Recipes, Reading Suggestions, DIY, and Blog Roundup
Welcome to today’s edition of the Friday Finds!
Hello from Wisconsin today. As I write this I feel like I’m in a snow globe. We have beautiful big flakes of slowly falling snow. It slows to almost nothing, then it’s like someone shakes the globe again and the process starts over. I’m enjoying my coffee while writing and watching the snow from the warmth of the house. If I can’t be at the beach…this is nice.
I appreciated all the input from readers last week about the Friday Finds posts. Thank you to everyone that helped out.
Aside from some general anxiety over war breaking out in Ukraine, I’m trying to maintain a mellow vibe today. I hope I can share that with you.
C. Ross won the email newsletter contest last week. Make sure you are signed up for your chance to be rewarded.

Thank you so much for including me.
I love the scarf. Your recipes always look yummy.
Dump cake may need a try.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! The strawberry pretzel dump cake sounds so good. The chili dog casserole sounds really good as my husband is trying to avoid carbs, and when we buy a package of hot dog buns, I only use one or two.
Wrapping the hotdogs in a corn tortilla gave it a bit of “corndog” flavor. Don’t skimp on the liquids if you make it; mine was a little dry. But, it was nothing a little more chili didn’t fix on the leftovers. I haven’t tried the Strawberry Dump Cake yet but it does look delicious. Thanks so much for visiting!
Have a fun and relaxing weekend!
You too Jessica!
Hello my friend. I keep trying to get the recipe for the strawberry pretzel dump cake but all I get is that they are having problems. Hope that I can get it. Strawberry pretzel salad is my favorite desert. Please stay safe. Miss you. Trouble
I think I have it fixed. Let me know if it still doesn’t work for you.
Gina – maybe I should look into the pub trivia book before St. Paddy’s this year! Looks like fun! Exciting news on my doorstep earlier this week — first print-ARC just arrived for my upmarket thriller “Whatever Happened to Cathy Martin”. Kathy Reichs meet Sherlock Holmes in this Midwest gothic journey set in southern Indiana in 1978 that seeks to unravel a deadly tangled web of lies surrounding three former high school friends, one of whom has now been missing for over a decade … but which one? And why?
Congrats, Mim! I can’t wait to read it.
I’m always glad to visit and find your little treasures. I bet that trivia book by Austin Rogers would make a great birthday gift!
Thanks, Eve. I’m always glad to see you here! I really like Austin Rogers. Jeopardy is one of the few shows I watch on tv.
