Hello, my friends. It’s time for the Friday Finds – December 13, 2019 edition.

If you arrived here from the weekly email, I hope you enjoyed my secret deviled egg recipe. I always start by preparing the hard-boiled eggs using this method. If you aren’t a subscriber to the email list yet, sign up today and send me a note requesting a copy of today’s email to get that secret recipe.

I can NOT believe how quickly the Holidays are approaching this year. It seems the older I get, the faster the time gets away from me. Perhaps, I have forgotten how hectic life was when my girls were little. I look at their lives now, and I am thankful I survived that stage.

Let’s move on to the Fridays Finds for this week. I searched for goodies to help you prepare for the Holidays no matter how or what you celebrate.

I reviewed a wonderful book this week on the blog. The Adventures of Fawn: ‘Til the Last Snowflake Falls might be my new favorite Holiday story. Author, Al E. Boy has outdone himself with this delightful trilogy featuring Fawn, the rambunctious daughter of Comet and Vixen. Her adventures will entertain you while emphasizing friendship, faith, and caring.

Friday Finds December 13, 2019 — Recipes for Holiday Mornings

Cinnamon rolls are a holiday tradition in my family. We open gifts first on Christmas morning. Then while the kids eat & play with toys, the adults enjoy their rolls and coffee at a more leisurely pace. I’m thinking about trying this recipe soon. I bet it would make the morning even calmer, and it would free up the oven for the turkey. The Crockpot Cinnamon Roll Casserole from Eating on a Dime looks like a winner to me.

Friday Finds December 13, 2019 — Christmas Craft Fun

I think this is such a cute project. You could make it for a gift or as a family project. Check out the video on my Pinterest Christmas Crafts page. I’ve also seen it with a burlap bag for the base, and you store your stones inside. The link takes you to an ad for the marker set. I have no affiliation with this company. You can choose to buy from them or make your own set; the choice is yours.
