Friday Finds – Feb 19, 2021
Welcome, my friend. How are you? Things are great here, lots of snow & drifts but, we have power, heat, and water. It sounds like much of the southern USA doesn’t. So no complaints from me.
This week’s winner of the featured spot in my BookShop is Jessica Adams. If you want a chance to have your books featured, please leave a comment on this post. (alternate prize for non-authors)
A quick reminder, if you are an author and would like to receive information relevant to authors only, please sign up for my newsletter, and I will make sure you get to the proper list.
I’m a judge in the 2021 Book Blogger of the Year Award competition again this year, so I want to encourage every Indie author to enter. It’s a wonderful way to get your book in front of hundreds of book bloggers, win prizes, and gain reviews for your book.
I’m not ignoring my readers that are only interested in recipes and crafts. I have specials coming up for you too.
Now, let’s get to this week’s highlights.

Unouchable by Michael J Martineck
FBI Special Agent Leah Capello knew the art world had a dark side, but kidnapping is a whole new hue. To save a young child, she accepts the help of Joshua Fawls, who claims to be an art expert, seems a little psychic, and is probably, more than likely, a delightfully skilled conman. Together they bend conventions, break rules, and learn that the artist Edgar Degas was right: Art is not what you see, but what you make others see. Just like the perfect crime.
Wild Passion (Passions of the Heart Book 1) by Sheri Chapman
When Kaitlin’s father promised her hand to the foulest individual in the newly settled town, she decided she’d had enough! No man would control her anymore. Kaitlin packed her meager belongings and headed out on foot from their remote home to find refuge in the small settlement. Unfortunately, she marched from one man’s command into another’s. The Oglala War chief on a mission for revenge, found a beautiful woman to rescue. Once the warrior had saved the girl’s life,

Friday Finds – Feb 19, 2021 – Creative Projects
My thoughts are turning to Spring. I found this cute kit to decorate an Easter bonnet. This would look so cute hanging on the door. Wouldn’t the residents of a nursing/rehab facility love to have these cute decorations brightening up their room? We should get started now. I made butterfly pins one year and donated them. The activity director used them for bingo prizes.
Easter Bonnet Decorating Kit
(Note: This kit ships from the UK, so it’s perfect for my readers from over the pond or not in a rush. If you are in the states, check out the kit, then perhaps come up with your own version.)

Hi Gina,
Hope you’re doing fine. Glad to open this Friday finds feature. Loved all that was presented. Particularly the book, ‘Untouchable ‘ by Michael Martineck. I also love the low carb keto casserole from Culinary Homemade.
Have a great weekend!🤗
Thanks Gina! I love your blog and share it on Twitter every chance I get!
Thanks for compiling a great list of books. 🙂
Hi Gina! I have to say I want to run right to the kitchen and make a chocolate mug cake after seeing that recipe!
Thank you so much, Gina! I am so excited to be featured on your BookShop! I tried to add more of my books, but I think it has to do with the distribution I have set up for them and I need to pick expanded distribution for more to show up. I’ll work on that to get more listed. Thanks again!
Hello, Gina. I would like to apply for your featured author spot. My debut novel is Weapons of Remorse. It is General Fiction but could also be considered Religious Fiction if you prefer. Thank you!
Hi there. I just added your book to my Book Shop under general fiction and entered you in the drawing for the featured spot next week. Thanks so much for reading and commenting!
