Friday Finds for 11 February 2022 | Superbowl & Valentine’s Day | The Best of 2 Worlds
Welcome to today’s edition of the Friday Finds. I hope you find something you enjoy in this post.
This is a pretty big weekend. We have the Superbowl on Sunday which is one of the biggest party days. It’s followed by Valentine’s Day on Monday, which is everyone’s excuse to eat all the chocolate! (Or is that just me?) I’ve included party appetizers and classic chocolate peanut butter hearts. If you aren’t a football fan, grab one of the fantastic books, or make a quick Valentine’s craft project.
Let’s chat! (My answers are at bottom of the post)
What’s your favorite genre to read?
How about your favorite type of dessert?
What’s your go-to hobby?

Favourite genre: Hard to pick! About half a dozen are vying for top spot . . . Maybe science (non-fiction) or sports books.
Favourite dessert type: Love whipped cream! I’d put my mother’s strawberry shortcake on the top of the list.
Go-to hobby: astronomy. I LOVE the night sky. It used to be dark when I was a kid; so sad to see what light pollution has done to this incredible visual feast.
Love your picks, Gary. When my children left the farm, the night sky is one of the things they missed.
Those peanut butter/chocolate hearts look delicious! I also think the wreath sounds like a fun craft. Thank you for providing some lovely Valentine’s day ideas.
Thanks for stopping by, Astrid. Love having you here.
Happy Valentine’s Day! I really like the jigsaw-puzzle, heart-shaped wreath. It’s perfect for the day.

Go-to-hobby is soap making. I love the idea that my soaps are full of oils and no chemicals!
Happy Friday and go Rams!!
My hobby that I wish was more than a hobby is writing books.
My newest book, Back to Grandmom, will be free to download Feb. 14-15, 2022!
