Friday Finds for 5 November 2021 | Cookies, Books, Thanksgiving Planning, Roundup
Hello and welcome to the Friday Finds | 5 November 2021 edition. I spent the past week in Wisconsin with my family. A stomach bug hit the kids pretty hard while we were there. I spent my week cuddling, rocking, and reading books to sick little ones. I’m heading home today or tomorrow for about a week. Hopefully, I can get caught up on everything, providing my flu shot stands up to the full-face sneezes and coughs I caught. Fingers-crossed!!!
On to the Friday Finds for 5 November 2021.
Friday Finds for 5 November 2021 – Books
Game On: Tempting Twenty-Eight (28) (Stephanie Plum) by Janet Evanovich
Stephanie Plum returns to hunt down a new kind of criminal operating out of Trenton in the 28th book in the wildly popular series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Janet Evanovich.
When Stephanie Plum is woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of footsteps in her apartment, she wishes she didn’t keep her gun in the cookie jar in her kitchen. And when she finds out the intruder is fellow apprehension agent Diesel, six feet of hard muscle and bad attitude who she hasn’t seen in more than two years, she still thinks the gun might come in handy.

Turkey Trouble by Wendi Silvano
Turkey is in trouble. Bad trouble. The kind of trouble where it’s almost Thanksgiving . . . and you’re the main
course. But Turkey has an idea–what if he doesn’t look like a turkey? What if he looks like another animal instead?
After many hilarious attempts, Turkey comes up with the perfect disguise to make this Thanksgiving the best ever!
Wendi Silvano’s comical story is perfectly matched by Lee Harper’s watercolors.

What would happen if we called on God for help and God actually appeared? In Mitch Albom’s profound new novel of hope and faith, a group of shipwrecked passengers pull a strange man from the sea. He claims to be “the Lord.” And he says he can only save them if they all believe in him.
