The Friday Finds (January 6, 2023) are here with Indie Author News, Best-seller Suggestions, Healthy-ish Recipes, Blog Roundup & a Super Cool Craft Project
Hello, my friends & welcome to the 2023 Fun! Are you used to writing 2023 yet? This seems to get harder every year, although I don’t just write 2022…I’ve been known to jump back many years past or even to the future. I mean, 2003 was an excellent year, and I’m sure 2025 will be too!
My goal this year is to be more organized. Now. I know, I have this goal every year, but maybe sometime it will happen. Do you set resolutions or goals? I’m not a fan of making resolutions, but I am great at goal-setting! My downfall is actually following through. I tend to get caught up in the day-to-day chores and distractions of life. For example, who read all day instead of writing this post? You know it!
I do hope you enjoy this week’s finds. While I’m always thinking of ways to improve this post each week, I also need your input. Do you have any suggestions for the weekly Friday Finds? Leave them in the comments. I’d love to hear them. I’m trying to put together a list of some new features to include on the blog, so now is a great time to throw your thoughts into the mix.
Peace, Love, & Health to you!
Note: I try to include purchase links with every book/item I recommend. Every purchase made through my links helps to support this blog.

Thanks for sharing your love of books Gina! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you, Eve! I appreciate your enthusiasm for my blog so very much.
I love the new “Winter” look of your blog, and Friday Finds!
Just copied the recipe for Ground Turkey Sweet Potato Skillet.
And I will make it and eat it. My husband will love it, too.
Thanks so much! I love refreshing the blog, but sometimes struggle to make time for it. Lol
I’ve been known to write the wrong year. It doesn’t happen as much now that I can’t work.
My goals for this year are to declutter and be more courageous with my book/printable business. I just created a new 100 days of school printable resource.
I hope you have a great year!
That’s awesome, Jessica! I have a review coming up next week for someone else using Teachers Pay Teachers. It seems like a great site.
Gina, Happy New Year!
Two questions for you:
1) When will you tell us about the Stephen King book?
2) What is YOUR favorite, stuck-on-a-deserted-island book genre?
Oh my…I think if I could only have one genre, I would choose historical fiction. That would cover lots of sub-genres; mystery, romance, etc. Lol! Historicals are a fave of mine because I like to learn while being entertained. As for the Stephen King book, have you see the size of it? It’s going to take me a while to fit it into my schedule!
Your hash recipe reminds me of an easy sweet potato/zucchini hash I make that’s delicious! 😋
