I ran into a slight glitch on my Friday Finds October 4, 2019 newsletter. One of the email service providers decided it was spam. They either sent it to your spam folder or didn’t deliver it at all. It even landed in my own Gmail spam folder. Not only that, but it put up a scary warning about it. So strange, because all the links I used checked out as safe. I’m told I used a “banned” word in the email. If that is the cause then I am definitely guilty of using the word “FREE”.
This “Well Darn!” moment provided me an opportunity to try something different. I receive so many newsletters where you’re sent a little greeting, summary, and the link to read it on the website. I enjoy this format and want to test it out in my newsletter. So, I’m making lemonade today from yesterday’s lemons!
Let me know what you think. I always appreciate your input.
Are you reading this and not a Friday Finds subscriber, here’s your chance for a preview. There’s a form at the bottom if you would like to sign up. If you decide it’s not right for you, there’s an unsubscribe button at the bottom of every email. Perhaps you know someone who would enjoy this little newsletter of books, crafts, and recipes. If so, please share it with them. I’d love to have them on my list. Rarely do I send more than one email a week. (ahem – unless it’s an oddity like today!)

I got the email Friday per the timestamp, just late to read and respond. ? I like this new format.
Thank Gina for putting on your radar my short story, The Case of the Missing Bubble Gum Card. For all those out there interested the eBook if free on all major eBook retailers. It is the first in the Jarvis Mann PI series, of which there are 8 books in all. Thanks again for promoting it.
