Friday Finds Roundup 11-15-19 from the website.
Myth Agent by L. A. MacFadden is a unique book. It combines time-travel, historical fiction, and sci-fi into one action-packed book. The time-travel isn’t a simple blink & you’re somewhere else. It seems a bit more true to me. The protagonist likens it to being thrown by a giant hand and crashing back to earth. The traveling takes place between 1910 and 1945, which adds to the historical fiction aspect. Please visit the blog post here or click the graphic above. You can also go directly to the book on Amazon here.
Julie MacNeil’s 50-Year Secret follows her incredible journey from being diagnosed with a life-threatening genetic disorder to searching for her biological family to becoming a renowned advocate and spokesperson for others with this disease. Friday Finds Roundup 11-15-19 Recipes to tempt you.
Jill Castle is a registered dietitian, childhood nutritionist, and mom from Connecticut. She uses her blog and podcast to inspire you to feed and nourish your child, inside and out. This week she is graciously sharing 12 Kid-Friendly Thanksgiving Side Dishes. Look for Cheesy Cauliflower Bites to Cranberry Corn Muffins. I think these won’t just be popular with the kids. Please visit her blog to read this excellent post. You can expect to see more recipes from her in the Friday Finds.
It’s really never the wrong time to make decorated sugar cookies for your family or yourself. TJ Fox is sharing her trials, failures, and ultimate success with baking the family recipe for sugar cookies. The pictures are of Christmas holiday cookies but, these would be awesome for any holiday, snow day fun with kids, parties, or just because who doesn’t love a beautifully decorated cookie. If you don’t like cookies, PLEASE don’t tell me. I don’t know if we can remain friends. Just kidding….maybe.
Friday Finds Roundup 11-15-19 Fun & Crafty Finds
Each week I ask what you would like to see in next week’s edition of the Friday Finds Roundup. I had a lovely request for some info on jewelry making, especially earrings. So in honor of that request, I found a couple of items in that category. My friends, it does pay to ask.
First up is a great starter kit for beginning your adventure in making fabulous jewelry for yourself or others. It’s also a great gift.
This very inexpensive little snowman earring kit is a great way to give jewelry making a try.
