My quick notes: I haven’t yet had a chance to read this book as it wasn’t on my assigned list to read for the competition. It is definitely on my TBR though. I plan to read it as soon as possible, thanks to the great reviews by other BBNYA panelists.

The world-building sounds like it is enchanting. Since the Bloom girls are planning more adventures, I’ll be tackling this book asap.

What others are saying about Octavia Bloom and the Missing Key

“I had a lot of fun exploring the world of this wonderful middle-grade fantasy.” JenJenReviews

“Any aged reader will delight in this story and it’s wonderful to lose yourself in for a few hours. I cannot wait to join the Blooms on their next adventure.” LikeHerdingCats

“I adored the settings, both the big old castle full of mysterious rooms like the dusty attic and beautiful Fairyland, where everything sounds absolutely amazing.” Sabrina’s BookTails

“A unique storyline with everything needed to create a beautiful read. I enjoyed the fun throughout as well; I had quite a few laughs too. I was as awed as the children with what they found through the door, fairies, good and bad, along with cute creatures that I could have taken back with me if it was possible.” Beyond the Books with Sharon

“A heartwarming tale of family and magic, children will adore it.” JodieTheBookWorm
