The Royals Next Door by Karina Halle | Book Review | #ContemporaryFiction #..

The Royals Next Door is the first book I have read from Karina Hale. I enjoyed it for its light-hearted fun and likable characters. While it is a thinly-veiled take off on a current pair of royals, they aren’t the focus of this story. Their bodyguard and the gal living on the island estate could have carried the story without ever introducing the “Royals.” Take this book the way it was meant, as a fun escape for a few hours.

The Redhead and the Ghostwriter by Ivan Scott | 5-Star Review

The Redhead and the Ghostwriter is the second book I have read by the author, Ivan Scott. It’s even better than the first. I highly recommend this tale to all lovers of books about books, contemporary fiction, and heartfelt romance.
