Gnocchi Gleeman tells the story of how this world came to be through his many bard’s tales. You would expect to be confused by stories within stories, but it all makes exquisite sense.
A Haunting at Havenwood by Sally Britton is a charming, romantic story. It’s a quick yet satisfying read.
The witty dialogue between Ras and Louisa keeps the romance light and fun. When you add in lost treasure, two entertaining ghosts, and many minor characters to cheer or boo, you have a winning book.
Even if you don’t normally read fantasy books, give this one a try. It is well worth the time you invest in reading for the entertainment as well as a glimpse into the realm of possibilities.
