About Deede Blake
Graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy, Deede Blake distinguished herself early on by winning the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for humanitarian contributions and the Bristol Achievement Award.

Sometime around 2016, I watched a bio documentary about Vladamir Putin. Being a creative person, I began to wonder, “what next?” After all, every leader only has their day, until their earthly time, their reign be it what it may, is over. So, I decided to create a world consisting of some of the elements I’d like to have. For example, a few political leaders who actually care about their covenant with the people. Hence, emerges the World Changers series, beginning with The Russian Orphan. I started with killing off Putin in Chapter Two.
The Russian Orphan is about the rise to power of a post-Putin leader, Commander Sergei Radkov. Sergei is more than a commander. He’s Spetsnaz, or black ops, the best of Russia’s best. A patriot. A leader of men. Intelligent. Brave. And once upon a time, an orphan in Russia. His story is very rags-to-riches for this most unusual man. And did I say sexy, too?
Sergei’s humble but confident demeanor is captivating to his fellow Russians. Soon they dub him, The White Stallion because of his quiet confidence, his straight talk blended with wispy humor. His charisma. That thing that a person has that invites others to love them. “That “it”.
As a subplot, there is someone else catapulted to the international stage at the same time as Sergei. An American, Dr. Selena Frederick. After completing a stint with Doctors Without Borders, Selena wrote a best-selling account concerning the plight of the poor and desperate, especially in war-torn places. She is soon branded as a person with a platform and is sought after as a speaker or media guest. She’s a woman with all the right concerns. She’s very “it” too. So why are there those who want to kill her?
