Hey my friend,
What’s new with you?
This has been a week of writing & a little cooking. But it’s still hot (until Saturday) so there has been lots of reading. The September Book List on the blog may be epic! Speaking of book lists, I have been getting some excellent recommendations from readers for new books, especially children’s books. I can’t wait to read & review them all. If you have a favorite…pass it on.
What to Read
September 23-2018 Newsletter
I finished Jack from the Ghosts of Culloden Moor series by L.L. Muir.
I am reading an anthology ARC of short stories with the theme of fire. It’s a fun read. I’ll let you know when it’s set to release.
I am thinking of stepping away for the Highlands for a bit….maybe. The Culloden 79 stories are always quick, clean reads, but the Immortal Highlander series is getting a bit graphic for me. I don’t think I am a prude but sometimes I want to yell…”Get out of bed and on with the story!” The storyline is quite captivating so I may not be able to stay away long. lol
I have several mystery/thriller/romance books to read soon.

Isn’t this quilt just gorgeous and it’s a free pattern! Makes me wish I was a quilter. I realize this is not a fall pattern but…I have a new grandbaby coming this fall so I think it fits!
