Hi my friend,
I hope you had a wonderful week. Mine was fabulous.
We are having some lovely rain & cooler temps at last. It’s starting to feel like fall around here.
Yesterday, we celebrated the 6th birthday of our grandson Max. Where do the years go? I wonder if that statement makes me sound as old as the grandkids birthdays can make me feel.
What to Read
The August Reading List can be found on the blog. Click here to read it. There might even be a surprise hidden in there!
You can also find past reading lists here!
This week was my first chance to be a BETA reader for a soon to be published book. I loved this. I was able to find several of the little things that make a book flow less smoothly as well as some minor spelling & punctuation errors. . It’s great when you find something you are good at AND you love it.
Look for the release of The Billionaire Land Baron by Emma St. Clair on Sept. 12th.
Shelby and Jake will grab hold of you in chapter one and not let go until you have turned the last page.
These 2 are on my list for this week:
Lachlan by Hazel Hunter. This is book one in the five book Immortal Highlander series
The Wild Child by Mary Jo Putney. The Wild Child is book one of her bride trilogy.
Who knows what other books will grab my attention this week. What’s on your to-be-read list?
What to Eat
A tip in this blog post just blew my mind. Isn’t it funny how you never think of doing something simple differently than you have always done it? Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwich.
Here is another great fall one-pan recipe:
Cider braised chicken, brussel sprouts, and apples.
And for dessert… A Quick Black Forest Cherry Cake
What to Make
DIY Pumpkin Mason Jars These are just too cute!
What about a terracotta pot candy dish? Simple & fun.
Check out this delightful knit Snowy Owl . This pattern was free at the time of the newsletter writing. It no longer is.
This is why you need to subscribe to the newsletter. You get this info in a timely manner.
Have a wonderful week my friend and keep in touch by commenting on this post, on the website or on my Facebook page. Let me know what type of crafts, recipes & books you are interested in. I’ll see what I can do to find some links for them.
