My Thoughts on Sticking Together
Can you imagine a world where a playful pup named Bella embarks on adventures, learns life lessons, and discovers the true meaning of sticking together? In Sticking Together: A Dog’s Tale, authors Linda Cooper and Jim Hodge create a heartwarming story that will delight both children and adults.
Bella's journey is filled with mischief and moments of reflection, with a gentle reminder of the importance of obedience and understanding the consequences of our actions. Her experiences open doors for meaningful conversations between parents and children about responsibility and empathy.
The author/publisher has included a wonderful free lesson plan to go along with the story. I think readers will find it especially helpful.
Agustina Perciante's illustrations beautifully complement the story, bringing Bella's world to life with charm and whimsy. Each page is a visual delight, capturing the essence of Bella's adventures and her emotions.
While the font choice looks very pretty on the page, added together with the amount of text, it could present a slight challenge for the youngest readers. However, it enhances the read-aloud experience, making it an excellent choice for read-alongs.
Sticking Together: A Dog’s Tale is more than just a children's book. It's a delightful tale that imparts valuable lessons through engaging storytelling and captivating illustrations. It's a must-have addition to any children's book library.
