Society and her parents have chartered a life path for Peggy McIntyre. But with her inherited Scottish stubbornness, Irish wanderlust and beautiful songbird voice, she has different plans. In Summer of Love, Peggy escapes to New York in search of freedom, music, bliss and love in the middle of the flower child peace movement of the late 1960's. Can she find real love in the sea of free love or is it just a generational illusion?
This is the third book in the Timeless American Historical Romance series, featuring members of the McIntyre family as they find love amidst some of the most pivotal events in 20th century American History.
Book 1, The Sailor and the Songbird shows the romance of USO singer Suzy and Red McIntyre, a charming sailor, as they fall in love in the midst of WWII.
Book 2, Irish Eyes, depicts Irish maid Maggie McIntyre as she immigrates from Ireland to America as she experiences turn of the century America and finds love with Scottish immigrant Mac McIntyre.
