My thoughts on The Subway Girl by Lisa Becker:
The Subway Girl is my first book with author Lisa Becker. You can be sure I’m finding time to read more. We all need a little more fun and romantic humor in our lives today. Lisa delivers that in The Subway Girl series.
Love at first sight, romantic country guy vs. cynical city girl, best friends that certainly deserve a story of their own, laugh-out-loud humor, The Subway Girl has it all.
Every good romance book needs a character to hate. The Subway Girl has two. Barry and Harrison. The other characters add a fantastic background to the story of Ryan and Angie. There are roommates, co-workers, best friends, and more that add so much depth to Ryan and Angie’s lives.
Will Ryan and Angie learn to trust their feelings and emotions? Can they each put the past behind them and grasp their fleeting chance at love? Please read the book to discover the twists and turns this story takes on its way to a HEA ending.
Notes for readers: The book uses some language not suitable for all readers. If you are offended by words you might hear on the subway, then you need to be aware they are in this slightly steamy story.
I read this book through the Kindle Unlimted program. This is my honest, unbiased opinion.
