WWW Wednesday for 28 July 2021
Welcome to my first WWW Wednesday post. Sam hosts this weekly meme on Taking on a World of Books. I’m not sure I will do this every Wednesday, but I’m giving it a try today.
The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
The rules for participation are simple:
I need to link to the meme host, answer the questions and visit other blogs participating this week. Simple and fun…right? We all need a bookish break sometimes. So let’s move on to my answers.
Ghosts of New England: Skullery Bay by Nancy Fraser, Kathryn Hills, Lisa A. Olech
An anthology unlike any other…
4 Different Centuries
4 To-Die-For Romances
The Same 2 Ghosts!
This is for a blog tour I am participating in later in August. The book is available for pre-order now.

Georgia burns.
Sherman’s Yankees are closing in.
Will the women of LaGrange run or fight?
Based on the true story of the celebrated Nancy Hart Rifles, The Cotillion Brigade is a sweeping epic of the Civil War’s ravages on family and love, the resilient bonds of sisterhood amid the devastation, and the miracle of reconciliation between bitter enemies.
The Concrete Vineyard by Cam Lang
An excellent tale of vengeance and redemption in the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada. I enjoyed this story much more than I expected to. It has murder, mystery, some history, and even a few thoughts about urban planning.

The Sigil by Shakeil Kanish and Larissa Mandeville
Would you like to read my review?
LGBTQ+ Dark Fantasy As he obsesses over his brother’s death, Lake begins to uncover a hidden world full of forbidden magic and growing danger. Now he’s stuck, caught between the world that his brother was meant for and his own. Lake is beginning to realize that no one and nowhere is safe.
Unouchable by Michael J Martineck
FBI Special Agent Leah Capello knew the art world had a dark side, but kidnapping is a whole new hue. To save a young child, she accepts the help of Joshua Fawls, who claims to be an art expert, seems a little psychic, and is probably, more than likely, a delightfully skilled conman. Together they bend conventions, break rules, and learn that the artist Edgar Degas was right: Art is not what you see, but what you make others see. Just like the perfect crime.
This book has been on my TBR for too long. I hope to read it this weekend.

Keepers Of The Gate (Twilight Ends Book 1) by E. Denise Billups
In 1779 Kanadasaga, Sullivan’s Expedition torches a Seneca village and many others, destroying the Iroquois Confederacy. Two hundred years later in present-day Geneva, New York, historical relics rise. Twilight Ends, a grand Victorian bed-and-breakfast run by the Newhouse family, sits on the property the Iroquois village used to thrive on. After Twilight Ends’ long-standing matriarch Tessa Newhouse dies, her daughter and granddaughter, Skylar and Twyla, discover two artifacts under the maple tree in the backyard, and an ancient mystery as old as time begins to unravel.
I always enjoy Denise’s books. She is an exceptional writer.
If you have a bookish blog, what memes do you enjoy? I hope you enjoyed my answers. Would you mind leaving a comment below with your own answers? I love to chat with my readers, so I’ll be waiting to hear from you.
