My thoughts on Robber Ducky
What’s not to love about a Granny Appleton cozy from Missy Tarantino?
Granny is hilarious, caring, and devoted to her family, friends, and pets. She’s spry, witty, and changes her wigs like some of us change shoes.
A thief disrupts the Founder’s Day celebration by stealing a piece of jewelry from the historical display. When a new snarky policeman ignores her input and the clues, Granny sees red. She goes after the thief with everything in her arsenal, including her highly disruptive yet completely adorable pet rescue ducks. Hilarity and chaos ensue, Creating a fast-moving, entertaining tale.
Tarantino includes a bit of sweet romance for Granny’s granddaughter, Quinn, to balance the mystery and give you a break from your chuckles.
This is a delightful, page-turning mystery that you won’t be able to put down because you can’t wait to see what Granny is up to next.
Robber Ducky is book 3 in Missy Tarantino’s Duckumentary series, but it can certainly be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone. But just a heads up, you’ll be racing to read the other books in the series.
