And Then We Vanish is a collection of stories from the past decade by the author, D. H. Schleicher. There are eleven stories in all including, five new stories and six previously published.

The stories have a central theme of disappearances. Circumstances of the disappearance may vary, but all have a unique twist that makes you relish each tale.

A few of my favorites were Boko Harem’s Greatest Hits, When Night Falls on Niagra, and Down Gallow’s Way.

I love a shocking ending that gives you a jolt where you exclaim, “I didn’t see that coming!” It’s rare to find such depth of connection to the characters in short stories.

D.H. Schleicher is a master with words, teasing every emotion from the reader.

Who is D H Schleicher?

I am an independent author, blogger, and film enthusiast from the South Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia, where I live with my wife (also a blogger among other greater things) and son, and plot travel as much as I plot stories when not immersed in my other career in the corporate world.
