About S.R. Fabrico
S.R. Fabrico was born a raised a Yankee who loves NY-style pizza and Philly cheesesteaks. She was introduced to the amazing world of Southern BBQ after moving to Tennessee where she lives with her husband and two children. She considers her family her main priority, everything she does is for them.
She attended college in the ’90s and received her degree in mathematics with a minor in secondary education, she went on to coach cheerleading and dance for 20 years winning a World Championship.
She loves anything and everything creative, so writing has always been a hobby. When she isn’t writing, she likes to wife hard, mom hard, paint, read good books and watch good movies.
Writing THE SECRETS WE CONCEAL has been an incredible journey. Writing through paramount sadness recalling moments from the past was challenging, but also immensely gratifying. I am who I am today partly because of my life’s experiences, all of them.
I believe a glass half full mentality is what keeps me going, I make a personal choice to find the good in all things each day and appreciate the gifts that each person in my life has to offer.

What is the last great book you’ve read?
The last great book I read was The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. The story was incredible, and I wanted to move to the remote town in Alaska that she describes in the book. I admire her writing style and strive to be as eloquent as she is with words.
The book takes place mostly in an extremely remote part of Alaska, where the main character moves with her husband and daughter. The husband is an abusive drunk, but life in Alaska will be different. Well…we all know how that goes. Beyond the suspenseful story, I enjoyed the depth of the characters and getting to know the people who lived in the town.
I thought the book was remarkable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the story and was inspired to be a better writer because of it.
