My thoughts on Cleo Can Tie A Bow by Sybrina Durant.

Cleo Can Tie A Bow is part of the Rabbit and Fox series from Sybrina Durant. In this edition, Friendly Fox teaches a bunny to tie her ears in a bow to keep them from dragging on the ground.

I know our family has a little story to teach youngsters to tie their shoes. This cute story takes it a step further with a rhyming tale and a beautifully illustrated book. I want to give a special mention to Pumudi Gardiyawasam for the fabulous illustrations.

The first part of the story gives us a look at Cleo, a bow-obsessed little girl. Her room, clothes, and life are full of bows. She likes to tie her bunny’s ears in a bow. The second part of the story teaches how to tie a perfect bunny ear bow every time. Instructions are included in this section so a child can practice with a ribbon while Bunny is learning from Fox.

I think anyone teaching children to tie their shoes will love this book. It would make an appropriate gift for preschoolers. It should be in every daycare and public library too.

I received a copy of the book for the tour. This review is my honest, unbiased opinion.
