A small mistake could potentially haunt you for years to come, and one little ‘slip’ could be what haunts Stan for the rest of his life! It may have started with an epic taco fiesta to end all taco fiestas but ended with the mother of all disasters for young Stanley. What should have been an uneventful swim at the local swimming pool quickly turned into a world-class environmental disaster!

This beautifully illustrated children’s book highlights the risks of and dangers associated with ‘farting’ in the pool. Read along as one small mistake changes Stan’s life forever, and the consequences of following through are made plain to see by all!

Author Ben Jackson – We’ve all been there. It’s a tremendously fine line between stealthy and squelchy. It’s easy to make mistakes in life, and one of the best things about silly mistakes is being able to look back and laugh about it. This book is in no way based on any real events or people – I promise!

If you love reading and laughing along with your children, then you’ll love Don’t Fart In The Pool! The perfect book for the fart enthusiast in your life!

My thoughts on Don’t Fart in the Pool by Ben Jackson | Review:

Don’t Fart in the Pool by Ben Jackson is a delightful children’s book. It’s just gross enough for kids to love it and hilarious enough for the entire family to enjoy.

The illustrations are colorful and eye-catching. The story captivates with the tale of what happens when you mix Taco Tuesday with an outing to the public pool. You know the results will be funny and unforgettable.

I love the author’s style and will be reading and recommending many more of his books.

If you need a new children’s book for the summer, grab a copy of Don’t Fart in the Pool today!

Author Interview:

What inspired you to write in this genre?

It started as a bit of a joke between myself and my wife. I came up with the first book, The Day
My Fart Followed Me Home, one night while we were watching tv. Initially, I intended to
illustrate it myself, but we quickly realized that I couldn’t draw!

If an author fictionalized your life, in which genre would the story belong?

Good question! I have no idea. I haven’t led that much of an exciting life. My wife and I live in a
long-distance relationship, between Canada and Australia, so maybe romance?

Do you have a set writing schedule?

No, much to my wife’s disappointment. When I’m supposed to be working on our chapter book
series, Hockey Wars, I often get side-tracked until the last minute.

Do you need silence to write, or can you work in any environment?

I love watching tv when I write—Netflix, movies, cable tv, anything really. I can’t work in
silence; it drives me crazy.

If you could set up your perfect writing scenario, what would it involve?

Netflix and snacks. Lots of snacks!

How do you choose the names of your characters?

Friends, family, and relatives. We have also run competitions online to allow people the
opportunity to have their kids named in our books.

What do you read for pleasure?

I love reading books by authors like Dean Koontz, Wilbur Smith, and James A Michener. I love
long stories and sagas that span multiple generations, times, and continents.
