🌟 Indie Author of the Week - March 27, 2026

Children's book author Craig T. Feigh looking down at his shoulder while playful illustrated characters from his books appear beside him

Craig T. Feigh

Craig T. Feigh grew up in the suburbs of Chicago in a lively household of six siblings, where life was full of energy, competition, and plenty of laughter. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, where he played baseball and enjoyed the island lifestyle, he built a successful career in telecommunications and entrepreneurship.

Inspired by a search for technology-themed books for his son, Craig created Little Bit & Big Byte, introducing young readers to engaging, tech-inspired characters. His children's books combine humor, interactive elements, and meaningful life lessons, often with hidden objects and activities woven into the story.

A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, Craig continues to create imaginative, educational picture books while supporting charitable causes. He lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with his family.

📝 Tip of the Week: Make a "Ta-Da" List

To-do lists keep us moving-but ta-da lists remind us we're actually getting somewhere.

Instead of just crossing things off, try writing down what you've completed. Finished a post? Figured something out? Showed up on a hard day? That counts.

There's something powerful about seeing it in writing-it turns progress into proof. The idea of celebrating small wins is a key part of building lasting habits, something often discussed in James Clear's work on habit formation.

And if it's a big win? Go ahead and do the celebratory dance. I fully support this method.

This section rotates between healthy tips, recipes, reading life, and creative breaks, so if this week's tip doesn't quite fit where you are right now, there is always something different coming up in future Friday Finds.

🎁 Reader Extras | March 27, 2026

Let's see, I guess I'd do a little victory dance for finally getting all of my seeds planted and the first ones I planted at the beginning of the month are sprouting! I have about 24 pepper plants coming up now! No tomato plants yet but I just planted those a week ago and the last ones I planted yesterday.

  2. The fact that I survived the week deserves a little victory dance is my answer for contest question Hope I Win
