This Week on the Website – Friday Finds: October 18, 2019
If you haven’t seen them yet, I reviewed two books this week.
First up is Make the Connection – by Susan Berkowitz, SLP. I recommend this book to anyone who needs or wants to communicate with a nonverbal child.
Next, I reviewed City Living by Jimmy James Scott. This fiction novel follows a millennial from riches to rags while he struggles with conformity, life, and growing up.

Recipes – Friday Finds: October 18, 2019
Since Halloween is fast approaching, here are a few cute and simple appetizers to get you in the mood. They will be the hit of the party, or you can turn off the porch light and eat them all yourself!
Caramel Apple Nachos from Life in the Lofthouse are a special treat no matter what time of year you serve them. However, when the apples are fresh in the fall, you can’t get much better.
Candy Corn Cupcakes from Christy Denney, The Girl Who Ate Everything. Candy corn may be a fall classic, but these look good enough to eat all year.
Check out these cute deviled eggs with pumpkin-shaped centers from Delish. You could even use my Instant Pot Eggs recipe to cook your eggs so the whole dish takes even less time.
