Fried fruit pies are a tasty treat that reminds me of my Grandma’s kitchen. I had forgotten all about the tasty goodness of a fried fruit pie. You can make this recipe with a wide variety of dried fruit. I know many of you have an abundance of apples from the last of the season’s harvest so I thought this recipe was appropriate. If you slice and dry those extra apples, you can have that fresh apple taste all winter long with Brenda’s recipe. I love her unique writing style and her website Camellia’s Cottage.
