Angus McCraggan sacrificed his life to break the Celtic curse laid upon his people in the Bronze Age. He failed. Millennia later, he returns to modern Ireland to find his people have become feral, vengeful shadows. With his hollow hill now a tourist attraction, he uses his power to keep his past hidden.
Until an American calls him out…
Since a banshee attacked her as a teen, Erin De Santos has been tormented by dreams of a boy she's never met. Armed with a new identity, she returns to the Emerald Isle determined to face her nightmare. But her discovery turns fatal.
When the banshee strikes again, Angus surrenders his heart—and his hope of freeing his people—to save her. With his life now hers and his curse descending, Erin must make a terrible choice: kill her savior or share his doom.

Excerpt from God of Summer
In a move she didn’t see coming, he kneeled before her. “I am yours—as my heart is yours—always and entirely.” His admission was low and raw and earnest. She tried to keep her shoulders from shaking while she stuffed her hands under the table and squeezed them between her knees.
“You can’t love me.” Her voice was faint. Airless. She couldn’t breathe. “You don’t know me.”
“I assume you value yourself so lightly because no one has recognized your true worth.” He reached out to rest his hands briefly on her shoulders before skating them up and down her arms, not quite chafing, not quite kneading. “My first impression of you was of a woman strong enough to risk making a fool of herself in front of others and courageous enough to face her fears despite being warned of the dangers.”
She flinched under the rain of compliments. “All that proves is I’m an idiot for ignoring your advice.”
“The same woman who sought to prevent the harm of an innocent creature and who later tended my wound and held a vigil by my side throughout the night.” He used the same crooning tones he’d used for the deer and even though she knew he was, it didn’t make a damn bit of difference. It worked the same. The tension leached from her body. “If those aren’t enough qualities to love, there is one more: you accept who and what I am without question.”
A nervous laugh spilled out of her mouth. When he learned she was a liar and a fake he wouldn’t be so sweet. “You’re making me into something I’m not. You can’t trust me with your life.”
“I already have.”
No, no, no.
She wasn’t aware of saying the words aloud until stormy eyes bore down on her.
“Tell me why I can’t trust you, Liz.”
There was no explaining what she couldn’t recall— how she’d survived the banshee and Da had not. The best she could manage was a token gesture. A name for a heart.
“Erin,” she croaked, her throat closing over in fear of how he’d take her deception. Liz was the name she gave a guy when she never intended to see him again and, for the first time, she wanted to be found. “My real name is Erin De Santos.”
She shut her eyes rather than see his reaction. If her experience revealing lies was any gauge, this wouldn’t go well.

Hi Bea
I’m working on a blurb for the prequel and I’m currently reading The Wild Rose and the Sea Raven by Jennifer Ivy Walker.
