Intertwined by Eric Suddoth | Book Review | I love a well-written book that makes me think. When you add in mystery, suspense, intrigue, and fascinating characters, it becomes a highly-rated winner, in my opinion. Intertwined hit all the critical points for me to give it a 5-star rating.

Bethany, Mississippi, is a quaint, step-back-in-time type of town, where its only protection is the symbolic white picket fences. But even small communities have big secrets. Even the perfect family. And their white picket fences can’t protect them from the tragedies that lurk around the corner.
When a mysterious stranger saves a young girl from drowning in a secluded river, the question rises is he trustworthy or not? Where did he come from? Why does he keep hanging around the twelve-year-old girl he saved?
This tight-knit community is connected by more than their zip code. Their lives and secrets are woven into a tapestry of heartache and pain. As life unravels, there is a common thread that holds them all together. It’s their decision to grab onto it or let it choke them.
What other secrets are they hiding? Are any worth killing or dying for?

My thoughts on Intertwined by Eric Suddoth:
Intertwined by Eric Suddoth is a fantastic, engaging book. I simply could not put it down.
The richly-described settings immerse the reader in the scenes. Each character is well-developed throughout the story, so you feel invested in their thoughts and actions.
What starts as the rescue of a young girl from a river soon turns into a fabulous story of secrets, lies, repercussions, survival, and salvation. This single mysterious incident grows to include more people, multiple acts, and outcomes that change your feelings page after page. Just when you think you have it all figured out, a new twist or bit of information comes along to set your mind off on a new tangent.
The storyline and mystery build progressively and will keep you turning the pages long after you should stop for the night. That’s my experience speaking.
The Christian aspect of the story is prevalent and integral to the plot, but never in your face.
I recommend Intertwined to fans of literary fiction, Christian fiction, mystery, suspense, and family drama.
I received an author invitation to review this book and read it through the Amazon Kindle Unlimited program. All thoughts are my unbiased opinion.
