My thoughts on Lethal Blues

Jarvis Mann is back in action in Lethal Blues, embodying his trademark gritty and brash persona as he works with Dennis Gash, his very first client from “The Case of the Missing Bubble Gum Card.”

A seasoned hard-boiled detective, Jarvis Mann is armed with a quick wit, a sharp tongue, and street smarts. Mann is right at home, tackling the underworld drug scene in Denver.

Although Lethal Blues is the ninth installment in the series, it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel thanks to the comprehensive backstory provided. Nevertheless, readers who start with this book will surely be enticed to read the previous works.

Packed with menacing, criminal characters and plot twists at every turn, Lethal Blues is a thrilling read guaranteed to satisfy fans of mystery, suspense, and the classic gumshoe detective genre.

I received a digital copy of the book from the author/publisher. This is my honest, unbiased opinion.

His writing delves into genres with gritty investigators exploring mystery, crime, suspense, and thrills, with involved plots and unexpected twists, featuring former US Marshal Hunter Divine, a dire, determined man searching for salvation in his broken life. While, private eye Jarvis Mann is tough and snarky, with as many faults as virtues. Characters exhibit traces of his sense of humor, though he’s not nearly as tough and fearless.
