My thoughts on Little Sweetpea Teaches Little Possum a Lesson
Simple is many times better.
Everything about this book is simple and sweet.
The story is short with rhymes, which always helps young ones learn to read. The morals of the story can be used to teach many lessons to little ones, from cooperation, acceptance, working together, reaching compromises, and more.
The illustrations reach out and grab you while being a great fit for the book. Again simple, but effective.
With only twenty-two pages, the author keeps the tale on track, yet there are many spots to stop and discuss what Sweetpea and Possum are learning.
Little Sweetpea Teaches Little Possum a lesson is a perfect fit for young families and will make an excellent gift book.
I received a digital copy of the book for the tour. This review is my honest, unbiased opinion.
