My thoughts on Reformed Dreamer by Deborah King
Reformed Dreamer by Deborah King is the fourth in her Inspiration in Cologne series, but the first book of hers I have read. Occasionally, I felt like I might be missing something from previous stories, but it does work as a stand-alone story.
Melinda is looking for her second chance at life after rehab. She finds this on the rural farm of her sponsor, Darius. This story is sweet and heart-warming. Melinda has hurt and alienated so many people. Can she find the strength to make amends.?
There are several minor characters and storylines artfully woven into this story. It’s a refreshing look at life in a small rural community, where everyone knows your business yet will be there for you every step of your difficult times.
Darius is a rugged introvert who is the perfect counterpoint for Melinda as she transitions to her new life. Will they find love while working on the horse farm? Please read the book to find out?
