Chester and his first mate, Roger the Octopus, have a fun time at pirate school while trying to earn their coveted black eye patch. There are lots of giggles and lessons in this cute children's picture book.
I highly recommend this delightful tale to readers of all ages. Early readers may need a bit of help with reading Baker's guidebook. I know I learned a lot from this book and can't wait to read it with my grandchildren. Baker and Taylor The Mystery of the Library Cats will make a wonderful gift.

She's also more concerned with the pretty wrapping paper than the amount of the gift inside. Great #diversity in this beautifully illustrated picture book.
