I stepped way out of my comfort zone to review this graphic novel. It’s set on Halloween and is quite chilling, disturbing, & bloody. You’ll love Old Bag of Tricks if that’s what you like in a scary comic.
I highly recommend this delightful tale to readers of all ages. Early readers may need a bit of help with reading Baker’s guidebook. I know I learned a lot from this book and can’t wait to read it with my grandchildren. Baker and Taylor The Mystery of the Library Cats will make a wonderful gift.
Kit Marshall is back in Lethal Legacies, another Washington Whodunit from Colleen J. Shogan. These cozy mysteries work well as stand-alones, but I bet you fall in love with this one enough to read more. Bonnie Blue Button is a Bully by Michelle Olson is a beautiful children’s book that can also teach adults a few lessons on kindness. Read my review of the latest in the Norman the Button series. Easy to read, and the use of photography enhances the reading experience.
The Shadow of the Mole by Bob Van Laerhoven is a psychological thriller/mystery set during World War 1.
