My thoughts on The Magic of Daydreaming
Children and adults will enjoy The Magic of Daydreaming. The story has a simple premise and wording for younger readers, while it can promote thoughtfulness and discussions with older readers.
Built along the lines of The Secret, the book extols the virtues of dreaming about your goals. Mona, the caterpillar, wants to fly. Not realizing this feat was in her nature, she searched for someone to teach her. Mari, the monarch butterfly, explains that all she needs to do is find a quiet place to rest and dream her wishes into being.
Children will learn a bit about focus and distraction and life lessons in perseverance.
The illustrations are beautiful and vivid. I read a digital copy of the book, but I can only imagine the joy of reading this story to a youngster for bedtime in the sturdy hardcover edition.
Kudos to the authors for their hard work in creating this beautiful story of hopes and dreams.

Having decided to change careers as professional dance instructors and competitors, Kyra Kalweit and Dayán Mantecón Roldán completed a yoga teacher training and strategic intervention life-coaching certification and together embarked on the journey of self-discovery by following a calling from deep inside their hearts.
Inspired by the messages from numerous teachers of spirituality and personal growth, plus their love for children, Kyra & Dayán have made it one of their life purposes to translate the teachings they have learned throughout their evolution into children’s books, so the younger generations can benefit early on in their lives from the wisdom of those who have passed before them. Together they founded Feeling Good Books, with the intention to empower, inspire and provide children with tools that will help them navigate through life. They share a desire to contribute to the growth and well-being of each child and parent out there.
Kyra and Dayán live in Montreal, Canada, with their five children.
