What Happened at the End of The Almost True Adventures of Brandon and Josh OR WHAT HAPPENS THIS TIME
Back on Earth, Brandon and Josh stared at each other in disbelief. By checking the date and time on the weather channel in Brandon’s bedroom a few moments ago, they had just figured out that the Strataderks had sent them back in time, so they arrived before they ever left on their first adventure. Things were even more complicated because when they came downstairs to the kitchen, Brandon’s mom told them about the conversation she had just finished with their cousin Adam’s mom, Aunt Patty, explaining he was missing.
When they heard how Adam had just seemed to disappear, it didn’t take long for them to realize their cousin Adam had been kidnapped by the Intergalactic Council on Obedience to Parents. The very same aliens they ended up escaping from!
Their minds fastened on Adam, wondering what was happening to him up in space and trying to think of a way to save him. They couldn’t help but think how they all had been born in the same year, within six weeks of each other: Adam first, next Brandon, followed by Josh, and now all lived in the same city. Adam’s birthday just passed, so for the moment, he was the oldest.
At least they’d all keep living in the same city if they could find a way to rescue Adam. Brandon and Josh didn’t want to lose their cousin to some bizarre aliens obsessed with a living broccoli plant!

My thoughts on The Not So True Adventures of Brandon, Josh, and Adam
The Not So True Adventures of Brandon, Josh, and Adam by Barry M. Fellinger is a quirky and fun read for kids aged 8 through 12. The story revolves around the three cousins who must rescue their captured cousin from aliens and return home safely.
The book is filled with action, surprises, and humor, with occasional serious moments. However, the pacing can be inconsistent, with minor trivia taking over at times.
Overall, it’s an entertaining and light-hearted book for young readers who enjoy science fiction adventures and humorous shenanigans.
I received a copy of the book for the tour. This review is my honest, unbiased opinion.
