My thoughts on The Wrongful Death by Kenneth B Andersen:
The Wrongful Death is book three of The Great Devil War. I have read all three so far and cannot wait to start the next in the series. Kenneth B. Andersen is a master at drawing you into his novels. He presents Heaven and Hell in a whole new light, where we analyze what we think we know from a different perspective while being wildly entertained.
It is classified as Young Adult fiction, but it is certainly perfect for ages 16 and up. I would list trigger warnings for torture. Hell is torturous!
I love meeting historical figures from the past in each book. I thought it was an interesting twist on the thief crucified along with Jesus receiving what he asked for as punishment. The adage, “Be careful what you wish for.” is certainly proven here.
Phillip continues several quests from the earlier books while fighting to keep his angelic disposition. He once again teams up with Satina, and as they are maturing, their feelings for each other begin to do the same.
As a clue comes to light that I missed, I find myself rushing back to read that passage. If not for that quirk of mine, this would be a quick read.
I am amazed by the depth of each character, no matter how minor. Mr. Andersen is quite the accomplished builder of worlds.
The rest of the series is available now. I’ll be reviewing them soon.
