My thoughts on Twin Tales
Twin Tales: Alike and Different is a delightful story written by twins, Brielle and Nadia Dupervil.
The cute little girls in the book may look alike but are as different as night and day. Alexia and Denise prove that being opposites is a fun experience. Where one likes to dress up, the other is happiest in sweatpants. One little girl loves mustard, the other favors ketchup. These differences highlight their individual preferences. Their love for each other and their family shines through on every page.
The bond between twins is special and this tale highlights the love between Alexia and Denise while showing that even identical twins are unique.
The illustrations by Folksnfables bring the story to life. They are bright, colorful, and very well-done.
I have a feeling this won’t be the last we hear from these talented authors. Alike and Different introduces the girls and fills us in on a bit about each of them. I expect to read more of their adventures in the future.
I received a copy of the book for the tour.
I also read the book through the Amazon Kindle Unlimited program. This review is my honest, unbiased opinion.

An Interview with the authors.
How do you come up with concepts to write about?
We think about the things that we do, and the things that we see and use that to come up with topics. For example, one of the books in the series will be about gardening. We learned to garden last year and think it would be cool to tell other people about our experience. The book talks about everything from deer eating all our vegetables, to playing with worms.
What is your next project?
Twin Tales: Alike and Different is the first in the series. Next up is Twin Tales: Lost in Translation. It is all about language and culture. We are going to start working on the illustrations for that one soon.
What is your favorite part of the book?
We love the page with our grandparents. We were so excited when we got to tell our grandparents that they were in our book.
Outside of writing books what else do you like to do?
We love to play with each other and our friends. We also really like to play on the playground and go to school.
If you could take your book anywhere where would you take it?
We would take it to children that do not have money to buy the book. We want everyone to be able to read the book and learn about twins.
