My thoughts on Venators: Legends Rise by Devri Walls

Devri Walls continues the saga of Venators in book three. Her world-building skills are magnificent. I can see this series being made into movie.

The back-story of several characters is filled in a little more in book three. It helps to have that knowledge in place to understand motive and actions. Verida, especially became more understandable.

Ryker’s role is a little more prominent in this book, compared to the last. The tension created between Ryker and Grey is top-notch writing.

I still fluctuate between wanted to yell at Rune and cheering her on. Regardless, they are all dealing with drama and situations to the best of their ability.

Once again, family is the undercurrent theme in this book. The family you were born with and the family you are part of are not always necessarily the same.

Legends Rise is billed as the final book in the series, but the door has been left open for more to come. That said, there are successful conclusions to be had in book three.
