A storm is brewing off the coast of Florida, but chaos has already made landfall for four women of Palm Beach society.
Abigail, a self-appointed Cuban princess and queen of the WAGs, suddenly finds herself penniless and on the streets.
Claudia, a Greek entrepreneur and CEO of a prestigious international clothing line, is entering her golden years only to realize secrets can weigh you down.
Cassy, a barista and owner of the Flamingo Cafe, is doing her best to recover from a tragic past.
Meanwhile her best friend, Bri, also harbors a secret: a romantic tet-a-tet with Cassy's brother Nick.
Each woman has played her part in a society obsessed with appearances and secrecy for years. So, when Hurricane Odette blows through town, exposing those secrets, it's no surprise their lives collide like a clap of thunder. Only one thing is certain: if they don't work together, Mother Nature will teach them the hardest lessons of their lives.

Excerpt from Flamingo Café
In Palm Beach, everywhere you look and every person you speak to does their best to remind you, You are a nobody. Because living in Palm Beach means living amongst the world’s most successful and famous people. It took me years to fit in here. Each year Julian renewed his contract and added another couple million to his net worth, was another year that helped me secure my place in Palm Beach society. Finally, I could prove I was no longer an impostor, desperate to rub shoulders with the rich.
I was rich.
Well, I wasn’t rich. Julian was. But, by association, that made me rich too.
Thinking of Julian is getting me all agitated again. I force my hands to relax as I pull the boxy black Mercedes into our driveway. Slowing to a stop at our gate, I roll down my window and type my key code into the free- standing security panel. With the final button pushed, I pull my hand back into the car and roll up the window. I’m about to press the gas pedal when I realize the familiar clink and sound of gates drifting open is missing.
I glance at the two slabs of European Oak still locked tight in front of me.
“Hmm, that’s odd,” I say and return my attention to the keypad. I type my code again, this time ensuring I’m entering the numbers correctly. I finish and wait.
Not a single movement from the gates.
No sound of locks opening, no massive wooden doors swinging open, no grand entrance into mi casa— just silence.
“Hold on a second,” I say to Riley, who is finally tuckered out from the day’s activities and is now silent and staring aimlessly out the window.
I push on my driver’s side door to check the security panel. But when I do, the door jams on something.
“What the…” I roll down the window and stick my head out. There, sitting atop the crabgrass between my door and the security panel, is my LV Keepall duffle bag. I tuck my head back inside the vehicle and push with more force, creating just enough space so I can crawl out the door. Once outside the car’s air-conditioning, the humidity instantly bombards me. Eager to get back into the dry air of the SUV so my hair doesn’t frizz, I bend down to inspect the duffle bag. A note is attached to the top with a piece of tape. I immediately recognize my name in Julian’s handwriting and snatch the paper off, unfolding it quickly.
It’s over.
Here are some things for you and Riley.
I’ll send the rest to your mom’s.
What the actual fuck?
I stare at the note for a minute and then flip it over, unsure of what I’m looking for but determined to find more. Something, anything that will prove this isn’t real.
