Friday Finds for 27 May 2022 | Happy Holiday Weekend!
Hello, my friends & welcome to the Friday Finds for 27 May 2022
It’s Memorial Day weekend here in the United States. This is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.
It’s also the unofficial kick-off to summer, and many people gather for picnics & other celebrations with friends and family. The Indianapolis 500 race is a pretty “big deal” around these parts as it’s nearby. We are having a low-key celebration with just our girls and their families here for the weekend. I feel like everyone appreciates these times even more since we haven’t been able to gather in recent years.
In order to enjoy my weekend with my family, today’s issue is very abbreviated with only a few highlights. I’ll be back next week with the full Friday Finds once more.

The 2022 BBNYA Author sign-ups close on May 28, 2022 (23:59 GMT).
These are the requirements, for both the novel and author, to enter the contest. Make sure you and your novel meet all these requirements before entering.
The panelists are dividing up into teams to make the judging fair and simple this year. Everyone is excited to begin reading the entries. It’s an incredible experience for readers and authors.

Happy Memorial Day weekend! We don’t really plan much. We might have a campfire if the weather is nice.
My favorite craft is quilling. My favorite reading genre is children’s books, or course, lol! As far as food, I like homemade soup the best.
I’ve been working on setting up a parenting group on Facebook. I’ve been dragging my feet in setting it up but I hope to get it open soon.
