It’s time for the Friday Finds Roundup 11/8/19 edition! My mind is starting to turn toward the holidays. I actually went on a Christmas shopping day-trip with a couple of my girls last Sunday. They are the get it done before life gets too crazy sort. I’m more of a last-minute, gotta be in the mood type of shopper. However, I enjoyed the camaraderie, leisurely meal, and picked up a few gift ideas.

Last week’s newsletter subscriber-only bonus was a drawing for a special gift. I used Random Generator to choose the number (3). K.C. was chosen and notified. Since Fall was the theme of last week’s newsletter, two of my handwoven, face/spa cloths are on their way to K.C. today.

  1. Very interesting list. I love books and especially cozy mysteries for leisure reading. I once made a leather book for my Dad in college. Love that bookbinding kit. I like reading reviews…Will plan to sign up.

Hey Gina Rae! I know what you mean about Christmas already coming upon us.

I wonder if Thanksgiving gets upset at us during this time of year since it really has become the forgotten holiday. As soon as October comes, the Christmas items come out, and then as soon as Halloween is over, I am sure Thanksgiving says, “Oh well, I’m getting kicked to the curb again for the sexy holiday. Doesn’t anyone dig orange and brown anymore?”

I wonder if one of these years Thanksgiving will boycott the holidays and say, “Take us off the You don’t appreciate me so just start doing your Christmas shopping now so you’ll be broke by December 1st! You’ll be buying figet spinners and tube socks! You won’t have Thanksgiving to kick around anymore! haha

However, I am sure if this were to happen, there will be plenty of Turkeys who would breathe easier. In fact, I am sure they are already signing a petition to make this happen…

    Great post, Gina Rae!
